Basic set-up information for your Cavalier Broadband Connection

On your Windows XP computer, go to and click on Network Connections:



In the Network Connections window, double-click the Local Area Connection icon.



In the Local Area Connection Status screen, click the Properties button:



In the Local Area Connection Properties window, highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) by clicking on it. Ensure that it remains check-marked. Next, click the Properties button:

 

You are using DHCP:

1. Select Obtain an IP address automatically
2. Select Obtain DNS server address automatically
3. Click OK


Your setup is now complete.
