Most buildings have a locked gray cabinet with posted information about wireless connectivity in common areas (hallways/staircases/lobbies, etc.). It is likely one is not more than 100' away from you at any time. Each building has at least one transmission device, while others may have more than one depending on the physical layout of the building. Additionally, there may be additional antennas located throughout the site to ensure access in some "weak" areas.
Each building will have their radio transmitter(s) with printed instructions in plain sight on how to subscribe. Also printed will be the Basic Service Set Identifier (Radio Station Identification). All PC's will be required to have their network card registered with us. An encryption key will also be provided by us to you in order to connect, after which our systems will automatically configure your PC for access.
